This information notice is intended to provide you with information on how Engie Group processes your personal data throughout the recruitment / sourcing process.

This information notice is solely addressed to Engie external candidates. If you are an Engie collaborator, wishing to initiate a mobility, please refer to the OneHR personal data information notice. 


     1.Who collects and processes your personal data?


Your personal data is collected and processed by Engie SA and its legal entities. Depending on the data processing activity, the data controller may vary:

In case you apply to a specific job offer:

- In its capacity of data controller, the legal entity you apply to collects and processes your personal data to manage external recruitment,

In its capacity of data controller, the legal entity you apply to collects and processes your personal data to offer you the possibility to have a candidate space,

- In its capacity of data controller, and in case you give your consent, the legal entity you apply to collects and processes your personal data to push accurate new job opportunities based on localization and function preferences (job alert).


In case you solely create a general profile (without applying to a specific job offer):

In its capacity of data controller, Engie SA collects and processes your personal data to offer you the possibility to have a candidate space,

- In its capacity of data controller, and in case you give your consent, Engie SA collects and processes your personal data to push accurate new job opportunities based on localization and function preferences (job alert).


In both cases:

- In its capacity of data controller, and in case you give your consent, Engie SA collects and processes your personal data to constitute and share a candidate pool so that all Engie legal entities can source your profile for other job opportunities.

Hereinafter, Engie SA and its legal entities are referred to as “Engie” or “we”.

   

    2.Why do we collect and process your personal data?


Engie processes your personal data whenever you create a candidate profile, you apply to a job offer posted on one of our recruitment websites, or when you make a spontaneous application on the website.

To achieve the above-mentioned purposes, Engie collects and processes the following personal data:


Please note that information items that are preceded by an asterisk (*) must be completed. This may include questions on pre-requisites for a specific job, which are not documented on the above-mentioned data (such as minimal expected wage, driver license). In some cases, the collection of certain personal data, some of which are considered sensitive under the GDPR, is mandatory due to existing national regulations governing employment contracts.

Those not marked with an asterisk (*) are optional and the lack of response to these items will not affect the processing of your application.



    4. How long will your personal data be kept for ?


Your general profile data collected in the wake of the creation of a candidate space is automatically purged two years after your last activity on your profile. Your submission data collected in the wake of an application (interview feedbacks, specific questions) is automatically purged one year after the last activity on a specific job application.

Exceptions to the general profile retention period apply to the following countries:


Hungary: 1 month

Netherlands: 1 year

The UK: 1 year

Spain: 3 years


    5.Where is your personal data stored and who has access to it?


Your personal data is consolidated within Oracle’s central database. Access to this database is solely restricted to:

- Habilitated Engie employees in charge of your recruitment process in the entity you have applied for. This includes your general profile and the personal data generated throughout the recruitment process. Your personal data may also be transmitted to the manager at the origin of the job offer to which you have applied.

- Employees in charge of sourcing activities within Engie only in case you have given your consent for a further use of your profile. This only includes your personal data available in your general profile, not the data generated throughout the recruitment process (interview feedbacks, specific questions). Of note, all internal transfers within Engie are governed by signed Binding Corporate Rules.

- The services in charge of the platform maintenance (Engie IT as a data processor, Oracle as an IT solution editor and solution host). Personal data may be transferred outside of Engie and outside of the European Union and only in countries where Oracle is established (list of Oracle affiliates and subcontractors). The transfer of personal data between Oracle Group entities are governed by their Binding Corporate Rules.


Moreover, your personal data may be transferred to third parties (acting as service providers, such as recruiting intermediaries) in the context of the processing activity. These are all committed with Engie to the respect of the confidentiality and the protection of your personal data.



    6.How to exercise your individual rights?


In accordance with the legislative and regulatory provisions in force relating to the protection of personal data, you have the possibility of exercising your right of access to your data.

You also have the right to rectify your personal data by going to your profile to modify it.

Finally, you can delete your personal data at any time directly from your candidate space ("my account" > "delete my account").

If you believe, after having contacted us, that your rights in terms of personal data protection are not respected or that the system implemented does not comply with the legislation in force, you have the possibility of making a complaint to the Cnil.

    8.Modification of the information regarding the processing of your personal data


ENGIE SA and its legal entities may update this or the specific personal data information notices at any time. Consequently, we invite you to regularly consult those.
