Context

Role

The role proposed aims at supporting the IS Singapore projects implementation, in the different projects phases and to be embody the support and enhancements after the project phase.


The main missions are the following ones :

  • Being the Trade and Post-Trade representatives for GEM APAC and ensure the link between the GEM APAC&LNG stakeholders and the IS teams in Paris.
  • Assist GEM users and ensure that the IS solutions are fitting users’ requirements (functional and technical). Train the users
  • Drive locally UAT with the users
  • Raise specific needs linked to the specificity of the GEM APAC&LNG use cases
  • Specify how to improve Gemstone in Singapore and work with the team in Paris and Orchestrade (vendor) to adapt the set up according to the new requirements in Singapore in a given budget
  • Share relevant information with support and development teams in Paris & Brussels


The Gemstone project and teams works in an Agile mindset and with Agile practices such as Scrum, Kanban, Craftmanship.


Key missions

The main responsibilities are:

  • Active role in preparing new release integration (training, testing, enriching procedures, monitoring, …).


  • User training and assistance.


  • Process local user support requests (configurations, assistance,  ..).


  • Process incidents (analyze, solve, document).


  • Coordinate incidents resolution with any other IT team when necessary (Paris/Brussels application teams, GEM IS infrastructure, …).


  • Monitor the IT platform and execute the associated actions when alerts are raised.


  • Enrich the backlog of evolutions and problems (source of recurring incidents), including description, benefits, priority, …


  • Continuously Share improvement ideas with development teams.


  • Actively participate in the writing or enhancement of operational procedures.

  • Engaged in cross-location (Singapore, Paris, Brussels, information sharing and tasks handover.

  • Self-organize continuous learning on the IS systems and landscape.


  • Follow up on the evolution of the IT platform (release) and adapt procedures.


  • Collect regularly user feed-backs on system Run Quality and share it with development teams.


  • Support the IT part of Singapore’s Business Continuity Plan.

About YOU

Education and professional background
  • University degree in IT Engineering


  • More than 7 years of relevant experience in IT trading environment


  • Proven experience and good knowledge about Trading and/or portfolio management processes

  • Behavioral and social skills
    • Interactive behavior : Active Listening and communication skills
    • Problem solving : Issues perception, analyzing, practical thinking, creativity, innovation
    • Personal effectiveness : Facilitation skills, pragmatism and pro-activity, resilience to stress, taking initiative, learning ability

  • Technical and functional skills
    • Understanding of trading environment is must:
      • Derivatives life cycle,
      • Greeks,
      • Pl,
      • V@r
    • Good technical knowledge on Windows environment
    • SQL skill
    • Good Scripting skills
