Currently we are looking for an Technician Gas and Steam Turbines within EMS (European Maintenance Services), which is responsible for the specialized maintenance of turbines, alternators, high-voltage installations and boilers for power plants.



As a technician you are responsible for organizing, coordinating and performing mechanical maintenance work on industrial gas and steam turbines. Your working day as a technician consists mainly of both hands-on work on gas and steam turbines and leading a team of technicians, consisting of both colleagues and contractors. Your working days as a technician in large power plants are highly varied.
You are part of the maintenance team and you report to the Head of Powertrain Operations department.



  • You have a Bachelor's degree (Mechanics / Electro mechanics) and experience in the maintenance of gas and steam turbines is an asset.
  • As a technician you have strong analytical and communication skills, but above all you are a real team player.
  • You have a strong safety and environmental awareness; you are constantly concerned about the safety of yourself and your colleagues.
  • You are fluent in English and have a good knowledge of French and/or Dutch.
  • You see changing schedules (day, shifts, weekends) as a part-of-the-job. Finally
  • After all,  you are willing to spend up to 30% of your working time abroad, mainly for short missions.
