Engie are recruiting for a Technical Services Supervisor to be based in Royal Blackburn Hospital Haslingden Road
Blackburn BB2 3HH. This is a permanent full time role working 40 hours per week (8:00-16:30 Monday to Friday). On offer is a competitive salary .
The role holder will report to the Technical Services Manager and will be responsible for the technical performance and maintenance of standards within the Royal Blackburn Hospital contract.  They will provide guidance to others on site, showing technical expertise in electrical systems, to ensure appropriate and compliant solutions and efficient customer service delivery. The Engineer will have advanced technical knowledge in more than one skill or technology area – although with an electrical bias.
Report and work closely with the Technical Services Manager (TSM) for the day to day supervision, monitoring and performance of the contract.
To be accountable for the work flow through the team and to work closely with the helpdesk to enable that to happen as a business as usual function.
Supervision of a multiskilled workforce.
Support TSM in the planning and implementation of change to improve service and operational quality and customer satisfaction. 
Facilitate co-operation between Technical, Security, Helpdesk and Client staff.
Carry out return to work interviews and other HR type interventions as necessary
Escalate issues to TSM as appropriate.
Ensure maintenance and other records are maintained to an appropriate standard and in accordance with site policy.
Interface with suppliers and service providers as required to meet the needs of the service Organisational skills and ability to prioritise workloads to ensure deadlines are met.
Ability to work under pressure, take ownership of problems and deal with them to their conclusion.
Participate in the on-call system.

	Apprentice trained and qualified/experienced in relevant trade (Electrical)
Basic computer literate.
Understanding of HR related items and planning.
Sound awareness of risk assessment and working safely with equipment.
Preferably experienced with HVAC, Pump systems, Lighting and Power, Fire Alarms, IPS, UPS, BMS.
Sound knowledge of the practical implementation of Health & Safety.
Experience of working within a Healthcare environment preferred but not essential.
Full driving licence required.
Required Qualifications:
NVQ level 3 and above
City & Guilds 2391- 10 – Inspection & Testing or equivalent 
City & Guilds 2382-10 – 17th Edition Wiring regulations
