WHAT WILL BE YOUR ROLE

 

Organization


The New Product team coordinates the implementation of new products/business within GEM, managing all stakeholders from Front Office (initiating the request) to support functions incl. of operational functions (BO, Finance, Risk) IT and Control Functions (e.g. Compliance). They act as coordinator and central point of contact between the business lines and all the front to accounting teams, in a project management and business analyst capacity when relevant.
The role can be based in Paris or Bruxelles. Some travel might be required to coordinate with teams based abroad where GEM has a presence.

• Project manage new product/business initiatives
• Enabler of business opportunities whilst being gatekeeper of process standards and data quality in new product process
• Owner of products classification referential
• Propose out of the box ideas and challenge status quo when necessary
• Develop strong partnership with all front to accounting teams


YOUR PROFILE

 

Education & professional background


- Bachelor or Master Degree
- 5-10 years of experience as a business analyst/project manager in similar firm
- In-depth knowledge of front to accounting processes
- Familiar with GEMs activities

 

Behavioral skills


- Strong Analytical skills
- Good communication & influencing skills
- Team player
- Ability to work in a multi-cultural/multi-lingual environment
- Ability to work under pressure to meet deadlines
- Fluent in English and French - Dutch is a plus

  • French: fluent
  • English: fluent

 

Working place

  • Paris La Défense T1
  • Travels: Brussels (occasional)
