What you bring:

  • For the position, you must have evidence of the right to work in the U.S.
  • There is no employer sponsorship of U.S. residency or work authorization for this role.
  • Valid State of Ohio Stationary Steam Engineer License
  • Valid Driver’s License
  • Prior power plant or steam plant experience, including a background in mechanical, electrical, and control systems associated with these plants
  • Ability to work any shift (days/nights/weekends/holidays) and follow-on call rotation as scheduled
  • Minimum high school education or equivalent
  • Minimum five years of experience in steam/power plant operations


Additional Information/Conditions:

  • Ability to meet the highest attendance requirements
  • Ability to communicate effectively, both written and verbally
  • Ability to handle multiple assignments on a timely basis with high accuracy
  • Ability to use a personal computer, calculator, etc.
  • Could involve some lifting
  • Capable of frequently standing, walking, balancing, sitting, climbing stairs and ladders, stooping, squatting, crouching, crawling, kneeling, reaching, grasping, pushing, pulling
