What you bring:

  • JD from an ABA accredited law school required
  • Must be licensed to practice law in one of the fifty (50) United States.
  • 10 years or more of law firm and/or in-house experience in the US power sector.
  • Commercial contracting experience in the renewable energy field with an emphasis on distributed generation, including solar and energy storage, preferred.
  • Real estate, permitting, construction and M&A experience also preferred
  • Excellent drafting and commercial skills
  • Being familiar with, and demonstrate responsibility for a range of structured finance transactions
  • Technical and legal (and other) risk awareness skills
  • Demonstrating experience with innovative deals and structuring
  • Articulating firm’s governance and risk policies
  • Transaction and project management skills
  • Excellent verbal and written skills
