ENGIE is currently seeking a Project Manager with experience managing utility-scale renewables or complex construction projects to join our team!

 

In this role, the Project Manager (PM) is responsible for providing overall management of the design, construction, and commissioning of utility-scale renewable projects throughout the US. The PM will be responsible for managing the execution of multiple engineering, construction, and/or procurement contracts, and will work with internal and external teams, subcontractors, and construction monitoring teams to oversee the design of the projects and monitor the work.

 

Reporting to the Director of Project Delivery, this position will be based in Denver, CO. Remote locations to be considered. 

 

What you’ll do:

  • Manage the Project Team including the Contractors, the Owner-Engineer, the on-site Construction Monitoring Team, and other Project administration staff.  The on-site team may include a staff of 7 to 10 persons including site management, safety, logistics, and quality control
  • Manage multiple construction projects at the same time
  • Conduct Weekly Meetings including Design Reviews, Coordination with the local Utility and ERCOT, and Site Coordination
  • Prepare weekly and monthly reports for Progress, Safety, and Quality.
  • Manage Construction and Procurement Contracts, Invoices, Change Order Requests, Submittals, and RFI’s
  • Prepare Cost Forecast Reports
  • Assist with pre-construction activities
  • Assist with the management of the Project Schedule and Schedule Updates.
  • Assist with developing and implementing the Inspection, Testing, and Commissioning Plans
  • Manage the Interconnection Process and Project Close-Out
  • Assist with the development and implementation of the Document Controls Processes

 

What you bring:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or related field preferred
  • Minimum of 5 years related experience
  • Minimum of 3 years of project management experience is required, preferably constructing large scale renewable or complex construction projects
  • Project Management Professional (PMP) is strongly preferred
  • Comprehensive knowledge of Construction Processes and Sequencing
  • Hands-on Experience with Tools and Equipment
  • Leadership and Problem-Solving skills
  • Proficient with MS Office including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Project

 

Colorado:

The position offers an annual salary range of $82,000 to $125,000 with competitive benefits and is bonus eligible.  Any extended offer will be based on the applicant’s experience.
