What you bring:

  • Bachelor of Science degree or a combination of a technical diploma and strong relevant experience
  • Certified Safety Professional (CSP), Construction Health & Safety Technician (CHST), or an Associate Safety Professional (ASP) or on track to achieve the CSP
  • Minimum 4-5 years of relevant experience
  • Subject matter expert in OSHA (US).
  • Strong MS Office suite software knowledge, especially Excel, PowerPoint, Word, and SharePoint.
  • Statistical, Analytical, and research skills required
  • Exhibits excellent writing skills.
  • Exhibit mastery of root cause failure analysis tools and their application for recordable events
  • Possess excellent verbal, written, interpersonal, and facilitation skills when interacting with both internal and external stakeholders
  • Experience with behavioral science and the psychology behind influencing change
  • Demonstrated ability to be organized and work on multiple activities simultaneously  
  • Experience in commercial and industrial construction environments
  • Proficient in database management and analyses in direct support of essential job functions

 

Additional Information/Conditions:

  • Must be available to travel up to 10% of the time and with the need for some overnight trips
  • Must possess a valid U.S. driver's license/clean driving record
  • Ability to travel domestically and internationally on limited occasions
  • Must be willing and able to comply with ENGIE’s policy with respect to COVID vaccination and testing
  • Must be willing and able to comply with all ENGIE ethics and safety policies
  • While performing the duties of this job, the employee will be exposed to weather conditions
  • The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate
  • Ability to meet highest attendance requirements
  • Ability to communicate effectively, both written and verbally
  • Ability to handle multiple assignments on a timely basis with a high degree of accuracy
  • Ability to use a personal computer, calculator, etc.
  • Ability to lift and climb some lifting / up to 30 lbs
