Qualifications or Required Experience

  • Previously worked within a maintenance environment, ideally Healthcare or Education.
  • Effective communication skills as you will be working in operational sites, where your awareness will be tested.



  • 5 years’ experience within a maintenance environment.
  • Good understanding of Compliance and the importance of working safely.
  • Hands on capabilities, to assist other engineers as required.
  • Work on own initiative and plan workloads.
  • Experience working on commercial plumbing and plant.



  • Recognised apprenticeship in relevant engineering discipline.
  • GCSE / O Level Mathematics and English or equivalent.
  • NVQ Level 3 Diploma in Domestic Plumbing and Heating.
  • Legionella awareness


Personal Qualities

  • Good communication and customer care skills.
  • Proactive approach to problem solving.
  • Capable of working with minimum supervision.
  • Work as a team player and pass on knowledge to others.
  • Flexible and willing.
  • Prepared to work out of hours as necessary.
  • Prepared to travel to other sites within the Company.
  • Possess a current valid driving licence
