Marketing Intern – Napa Valley USD (Student)(4255)

Support sustainability and environmental efforts in the City of American Canyon related to the ENGIE sustainability program. 


What you’ll do:

Work with the City’s Marketing Department to share sustainability information with residents digitally. Manage materials for outreach programs, hone your skills in graphic design, website management, and video with the support of marketing professionals.  Gain public service and marketing experience in this paid internship position while advancing sustainability issues in your hometown.

  • Send weekly communications to residential recycled water customers
  • Create weekly delivery schedule for residential recycled water customers – publish on website
  • Update and maintain environmental program website pages
  • Create and maintain environmental program forms
  • Promote environmental programs through video interviews
  • Create graphics, video tutorials, and other supporting materials for environmental programs
  • Maintain documentation of program communication and outreach efforts
  • Manage water conservation device inventory
  • Carries out other duties as assigned


What you bring:

  • Enrolled Napa Valley USD student
  • Must possess excellent communication (verbal and written) skills utilizing Microsoft Office Suite applications
  • Strong time management skills
  • U.S. citizenship or U.S. permanent residency is required
  • For this position, you must have evidence of right to work in the U.S. There is no employer sponsorship of U.S. residency or work authorization with this role



Additional Information/Conditions:

  • Ability to meet highest attendance requirements
  • Ability to communicate effectively, both written and verbally
  • Ability to handle multiple assignments on a timely basis with a high degree of accuracy
  • Ability to use a personal computer, calculator, etc.
  • Could involve some lifting
