ENGIE are recruiting for an proactive and methodical IT Business Development Analyst to join us on a permanent, full-time basis. The role can be based at any of our UK offices, with significant flexibility to accommodate remote working.  On offer is a competitive salary and benefits package.

 

The position of IT Business Development Analyst (IT BDA) will be responsible for analysing and understanding business problems and documenting requirements and potential solutions for tender opportunities and operational initiatives.

 

Working as part of the Public, Futures and Business Services (PFBS) IT Demand team within ENGIE IT Department, the IT BDA will focus on understanding the customer’s challenges and helping to solve business problems through intuitive and integrated solution designs. This role is an entry level IT Business Analyst position, which would suit somebody looking to develop their career in this area, and will be required to support business analysis activities for both PFBS bids and project ideas.

What is your day to day?

  • Understand problems, identify requirements, and contribute to design solutions that map to the customer needs.
  • Review tender documents and contracts and identify IT requirements and current solutions
  • Analyse and interpret business information and data collected to assist in IT tendering activity and cost analysis.
  • Independently manage workload and deal with multiple demands and activities simultaneously.
  • Work as a team member with a strong focus on outcomes that ensure best results for all stakeholders

 

Who are you?

  • A self-motivated, analytical but practical individual who is energetic, resilient, and open to change,
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to listen, question, interpret and influence business users
  • Excellent communication skills and stakeholder management, with experience of dealing with stakeholders at all levels.
  • Experience of producing reports, gathering requirements and cost analysis
  • Excellent writing skills and the ability to produce BID and Project documentation to a high standard.
  • Have at least 1-2 years’ experience working within a large and complex organisation - ideally educated to a degree level.
