Skills/ Experience required to perform role

  •  5 years’ experience in SHEQ/Compliance co-ordination.
  • Up to date knowledge of UK SHEQ legislation, regulatory requirements, standards, and practices.
  • Ability to effectively communicate at all levels throughout the organisation and contract staff. Ability to provide training in areas of safety and compliance.
  • Ability to conduct incident investigations and identify underlying root causes – reporting finding to senior leaders.
  • Ability and confidence to provide challenge.
  • Experience of working on a major hazard site.

Relevant Education

  • NEBOSH Diploma in Health and Safety, or equivalent qualification.

Reporting to    SHEQ Manager
Direct Reports    None
