  • For this position, you must have evidence of right to work in the U.S. There is no employer sponsorship of U.S. residency or work authorization with this role.
  • Must possess a detailed understanding of the politics and legislative framework in all key US and Canadian power markets, including the respective market structures, legal frameworks and active political parties and positions as they relate to ENGIE North American business interests.
  • Must demonstrate superior communication skills, both written and verbal, as well as strong interpersonal skills. 
  • Good independent functioning and decision-making skills.
  • Good organizational, prioritizing and time management skills
  • Prior leadership positions within industry organizations and ISO/RTO stakeholder organizations is a positive.


Essential Physical Abilities

  • Ability to meet highest attendance requirements
  • Ability to communicate effectively, both written and verbally.
  • Ability to handle multiple assignments on a timely basis with a high degree of accuracy.
  • Ability to use personal computer, calculator, etc.
  • Could involve some lifting.




  • Bachelor’s Degree required
  • Must have 10+ years of experience in a similar or related role, including at least 5 years representing legislative and regulatory policy positions in relevant government forums.
