Storengy are recruiting for a Finance Manager to be based in Northwich. This is a Permanent  full-time role working Monday to Friday. On offer is a competitive salary, and benefits package.


Main Responsibilities/Duties Include:


Reporting directly to the Head of Finance & Company Secretary,  the position will initially focus on business process enhancement including new finance system implementation. As well, the role will set up financial processes for newly acquired business units (Biogas & Solar). Key responsibilities are:

  • Identify and execute on lean initiatives in business reporting and other finance processes. Work closely with Project Manager in SAP implementation;
  • Set up and lead biogas / solar business month end reporting process including B/S and P&L review with functional managers and Group Finance team. Provide audit support;
  • Lead biogas / solar business budgeting and medium-term forecasting process. Work closely with functional managers in achieving business plan / target;

The role will work closely with the outsourced accounting team in the UK.



Required Qualifications, Skills or Experience:


  • Qualified ACA/ACCA with minimum 5 years post qualification. Familiar with IFRS.
  • Financial Planning and Analysis (FP&A) experience (essential)
  • System implementation experience (beneficial)
  • Intermediate Excel skills
  • Able to collaborate and build effective working relationships with key stakeholders.
