Conti Corporation has an immediate opening for an Electrical Estimator in our Irvine, CA office. As the Electrical Estimator, you will skillfully work with our project teams and contractors for execution of renewable energy projects. 

The ideal candidate should be comfortable working in Excel, Word and Estimating Software such as AccuBid, as well as previous Renewables experience. 

What you'll do: 

  • Prepare cost estimates by analyzing proposals and requirements
  • Identify labor, material and the time requirements by studying proposals, blueprints, specifications and related documents
  • Resolve discrepancies by gathering and analyzing information
  • Quality Control of all documents sent to the project team for execution of the project
  • Communication with project team, project contractors and prime contractors for purpose of coordination
  • Contribute to the team's efforts by accomplishing related results as needed

What you bring:

  • 5+ years of field electrical experience is required
  • High School diploma or GED is required
  • Commercial, Light Commercial, Utility Scale Solar, Renewable Energy Distributed Generation Solar and Battery Energy Storage is highly preferred
  • Ability to read and interpret project plans and specifications
  • Previous experience reporting research results
  • Experienced in Estimating Software such as McCormick and Accudbid
  • Identify, understand and meet project schedule deliverables
  • Transportation to coordinate on site visits/meetings at specified project locations in surrounding areas
