What you bring:
  • Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering is required
  • Minimum of 10 years’ experience; 5 years’ experience in a transmission analysis role in the energy sector Must have experience with using transmission and/or distribution modeling tools (PSS/E, PowerWorld, Aspen, etc).
  • Must have experience with using SCED modeling tools (UPLAN, Pro Mod).
  • Knowledge and experience in transmission analysis with regards to developing and constructing power generation and storage assets in the United States.
  • Working experience in or direct interaction experience with one of the major regional transmission organizations such as ERCOT, MISO, CAISO, SPP and PJM.
  • Must be able to interpret transmission system analysis studies and use that information to advise on business development projects and activities.
  • Strong and elaborate verbal and written communication skills, especially when interacting with outside stakeholders such as government agencies and local communities is an essential part of the role.
  • Strong leadership skills and the ability to manage a team of 3 or more employees.
  • Ability to travel up to 25% of time
