Afin de faire face aux enjeux du futur, Axima, Ineo (EQUANS) et Endel affirment leur volonté de participer activement au développement d'une nouvelle génération d'énergie nucléaire au travers du projet du plus grand projet international de recherche sur la fusion, ITER.

S'appuyant sur leurs savoirs faires historiques, les 3 entreprises, (groupées avec un partenaire allemand au sein du Consortium OMEGA) ont ainsi été retenues pour participer à ce projet d'envergure internationale basé en Provence.

Le projet ITER TB04 comprend la conception, la construction et la mise en service des installations de ventilation, de tuyauterie, d'électricité et de contrôle commande d'une douzaine de bâtiments du site dont le Tokamak Complex, où sera installé le réacteur de fusion nucléaire. 

Dans le cadre de nos activités, nous recherchons notre :


Contract Manager Adjoint (H/F)


The Contract Manager Adjoint is responsible for the provision of advisory and assistance services in Contract Management within the framework of the IO TB04 Project.

  • As a deputy of the contract manager he/she will be in charge of the same activities than the contract manager :
  • Monitoring of compliance of contractual issues and advice to Project Director in the case of deviation
  • Evaluation and monitoring of contract extensions and variations,
  • Investigation and problem-solving with respect to contractual and commercial problems and issues hen the arise
  • Advice to Project Managers and Budget Managers on contract issues
  • Commercial inspection of incoming letters (preparation, drafting), background checking and managing approval process for letters, maintenance of letter database,
  • Commercial and contractual support to change Management (IARS/EIs/SOs), including analyzing and determining appropriate pricing strategies, and consideration of appropriate contract provisions to ensure these variations are profitable to OC,
  • Commercial and contractual support to Procurement and Project Direction,
  • Management of compliance with respect to insurance provisions,
  • Preparation of key meetings on behalf of OC : council Meeting, DMC, Risk Management, Configuration Management meeting, interface Management meeting, Core Management meeting, Admin & Finance meeting, Steering Committee, TB04 Board meeting,
  • Production and issue of the Monthly Progress Report,
  • General Legal and Contractual analysis, including special assignments,
  • Coordination of the Board Task Force,
  • Recommendation and implementation of effective, robust and transparent contract administration procedures based on FIDIC documentation, including maintaining up to date of files of correspondence, and general office administration.
  • You have a 5-year degree in law and at least 7 years of experience as a corporate lawyer acquired on complex design-implementation projects in the infrastructure sector, in France and/or internationally... Graduate degree, with desired specialization (3rd cycle) in business law (a post-graduate degree in an Anglo-Saxon university is a definite asset),
  • You are an expert in the management of EPCM and turn-key contracts (FIDIC, NEC). You are also familiar with group operations. You know how to adapt to the different sensitivities and culture present among the various stakeholders,
  • Rigor, pragmatism, a spirit of synthesis and writing skills. Experience in a law firm is an additional asset,
  • Relational and negotiation skills. Good communicator. Teamwork and networking skills,
  • You are known for your reactivity, autonomy, sense of cooperation and team spirit,
  • You are pragmatic, you will always be concerned to find concrete solutions in compliance with the applicable law and the rules of the ENGIE group,
  • You are interested in innovative and environmentally friendly solutions,
  • You have a perfect command of written and spoken English; you qualify as a good bilingual.
