What you bring:

  • Bachelors of Marketing, Communications, English, Journalism, or Graphic Design majors preferred
  • 2-5 years of communications experience
  • Minimum of 2 years’ experience in higher education environment preferred
  • Experience in asset management, P3 projects, energy or utility environment a plus
  • For this position, you must have evidence of right to work in the U.S. There is no employer sponsorship of U.S. residency or work authorization with this role. Ability to interact with colleagues in a small, self-managed team structure
  • Ability to facilitate effective discussion with range of priorities and deliverables
  • Exceptional public speaking skills; comfortable engaging with crowds
  • High degree of emotional intelligence
  • Strong understanding of social media platforms and ability to post and interact
  • Capable of drafting blog posts; providing edits and support to others’ contributions
  • Demonstrated success executing a successful, long-term marketing campaign
  • Proven ability to plan, organize, and prioritize effectively with high degree of accuracy
  • Proven ability to work independently with minimal guidance from leadership
  • Ability to read and understand complex contractual agreements preferred
  • Passion for environment, sustainability, and ESG highly valuable

 

Additional Information/Conditions:

  • Must be eligible to work for any U.S. employer without the need for sponsorship now or in the future
  • Must be available to travel up-to 5% of the time and with the need for some overnight trips
  • Must possess a valid U.S. driver’s license / clear driving record
  • Must be willing and able to comply with ENGIE’s policy with respect to COVID vaccination and testing
  • Must be willing and able to comply with all ENGIE ethics and safety policies
  • While performing the duties of this job, the employee is not exposed to weather conditions
  • Ability to meet highest attendance requirements
  • Ability to communicate effectively, both written and verbally
  • Ability to handle multiple assignments on a timely basis with a high degree of accuracy
  • Ability to use personal computer, calculator, etc.
  • Could involve some lifting / up to 30 lbs.
  • Eligible for a hybrid schedule consisting of in-office and work-from-home opportunities
