Fixed Term role until the end of February 2020 with the possibility to extend

The Administration Assistant will be responsible for providing administrative support to the project group, so first-class service can be provided to clients.

The responsibilities of this position shall include but not be limited to:

  • Answer phone calls in a prompt and friendly manner, ensuring messages are passed to the appropriate person in a fast and accurate manner.
  • Accurate data entry and scanning of documents.
  • Produce letters, spreadsheets and documents in a professional manner by the due date.
  • Monitor and maintain adequate stationery and printing levels for the project group.
  • Assist the project team with administrative duties as required.
  • Distribution of incoming mail and emails.
  • Maintain records in accordance with company systems and procedures.
  • Prepare all documentation associated with projects.
  • To be a professional and efficient interface between the Company and its clients.
  • Find solutions to problems and queries where appropriate.
  • Liaise with other work groups and interstate offices as required.
  • Maintain the company’s commitment to quality and health and safety.
  • Other duties as directed by line manager.

About You

  • Year 12 (VCE) or equivalent
  • Certificate 3 or 4 in Business preferred but not mandatory
  • General knowledge of computer software packages
  • Customer focused and deadline driven attitude is required in this fast paced role
