Security Manager

Merida

Purpose of the Position:

 

Security Manager Cuxtal II will design and implement the Security strategy for Cuxtal II project, in alignment with ENGIE's security strategy for people and tangible property in all its business Units.

 

 

Responsibilities and Job Functions:

Inform and advise the leadership on security measures to guard people, information and tangible property of ENGIE Cuxtal II

Maintain an updated analysis of the region, assessing risks and security threats that may be generated by criminal phenomena, natural disasters, social and political dynamics, to design strategies accordingly in order to mitigate their potential impact, thus safeguarding the interests of ENGIE in the region.

  • • This assessment should be performed under rigorous methodologies approved by the Sr. Management of Patrimonial Security.

Coordinate regional supervision of construction sites in order to enforce the security plan in place for Cuxtal II and have an oversight of EPC’s Security Plan design and implementation

Implement a plan for ex-pat members, if applicable, including special training, emergency assistance, GPS monitoring and continuous improvement of security systems suitable for ENGIE Mexico assets, according to the risk environment in which they operate.

Guarantee, in accordance with procedures approved by the Country Security Manager, that the guard service assigned to the ENGIE facilities and construction sites comply with the assigned missions of access control (pedestrian and vehicular), registration of visits, monitoring of the surroundings and tours of facilities.

Coordinate and supervise the correct management of the access control system, CCTV and alarms of the facilities. He/she will be responsible for ensuring that the local control room and Security Operations Center (COPS) maintain complete visibility and analytical capability.

 

 

Occupational Profile:

  • Degree in social sciences (political science, international relations, intelligence or criminalistics) or comparable military training.
  • Knowledge of protection of critical infrastructure
  • Technical knowledge of CCTV
  • Certifications in asset security management (CPP or equivalent)-DESIRABLE
  • Critical thinking Capacity for analysis, synthesis and writing Ability to react in situations of risk or crisis Stress Management Attention to staff Bonding and relationship skills
  • Proficiency in English (Desirable)
