H&S Sr Manager

Role Objective:  Develop and implement strategies to ensure that Ampliación Energia Mayakan Project (designs, construction, commissioning and operations) is carried out in a safe manner with cero and fatal accidents, in harmony with the environment and free of physical security incidents in the area. Empower all employees on the field to foster a H&S culture and coordinate with H&S at Corporate and Group level to meet rules, operating procedures, standards and local H&S regulation.

Your Impact: As H&S Sr Manager, you will have the opportunity to directly contribute to our mission, playing a key role in :

  1. Establishes and directs the strategy in Occupational Health and Safety to achieve the objectives defined by the organization of Ampliacion Energia Mayakan Project, in line with the Group's H&S policies.
  2. Directs the planning and the road map of the policies, procedures, instructions, and activity guides in H&S as well as the Emergency Response Systems on a multi-year basis.
  3. Contribute and support the implementation of the Integrated Safety Management Systems in Ampliación Energia Mayakan Project, including also contractors and providers. Follow up and analyze the data, KPIs, implementation of actions plans, etc, to provide the result, effectiveness, and improvements needed of this system.
  4. Ensure legal compliance and represent the organization before authorities such as ASEA, SEMARNAT, Secretaria del Trabajo y Previsión Social, Civil Protection and any state or municipal authority in matters related with Health and Safety.
  5. Be advisor of all managers and supervisor in terms of H&S to promote and create a mature culture of H&S in the organization, proposing activities, training, improvement in the organization and tools, etc.
  6. Leading the project of H&S Supervisors and encourages COSESAS to comply with the legal requirements of the Engie work centers..
  7. Control, establish and manage the budget and resources of the area of the H&S, providing and/or giving advice to the H&S leaders of the project to prepare their budgets, supervising the implementation.
  8. Guides entities in compliance with internal and external H&S audits, making the follow up of the action plans to be implemented.

 

 

Requirements:

Education preferably Bachelor's degree in Engineering, with a Master's degree preferable in disciplines related to H&S.

Knowledge of the operation of natural gas distribution and/or transportation systems.

Experience in the implementation of Integrated Management Systems (ISO, SASISOPA).

Knowledge of root cause analyses investigation methodologies.

Knowledge of risk assessment tools.

Possess skills in handling MS Word, MS PowerPoint, Excel.

Advanced Spanish

Advanced English
