What You Can Expect

As an intern in our Westminster, CO office, you will work as a supporting key member of the Project Management (PM) and Construction Management (CM) team within the Utility-Scale Renewable Development business.

 

Every day you will support the Project and Construction Management staff with project start up activities for ENGIE’s project portfolio of wind, solar and battery storage projects.  

 

In this role you will be responsible for:

  • Reporting and project start up and closeout activities and exhibit reviews
  • Review and update process maps and documents for PM and CM activities and support the activities within the ProCore application system
  • As an intern you will travel to construction project sites as needed to shadow the Construction Manager or Senior site member on the work being done, audits, and safety inspections
  • Documentation of activities, create reports out of Procore, review daily reports for quality and non-conformance
  • Attend weekly Construction Project meetings

 

 

What You Will Bring

  • Actively in university working towards a bachelor’s degree in mathematics, science, engineering or similar technical or analytics based program
  • Able to work up to 40 hours per week
  • Strong communication and presentation skills
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerBI, and PowerPoint skills
  • Ability to aggregate data on projects for reporting
  • Extremely organized, results-driven, consistent, and reliable attendance with the ability to manage time efficiently and a self-starter
  • Ability to operate with high energy and flexibility and able to manage priorities in a fast-paced, dynamic working environment
  • Strong technical writing capabilities, attention to detail, and organizational skills
  • Team player with the willingness to help others
  • Capability to collaborate across departments within the company and with external customers

 

 

Additional Details

  • The internship work term will be from May 2024 to August 2024
  • This role is eligible for our hybrid work policy
  • Must be willing and able to comply with all ENGIE ethics and safety policies 
  • Ability to travel up to 25% to construction sites

 

 

Compensation

Salary Range: $21.00 – $28.00 USD hourly

 

This represents the average expected pay range for a qualified candidate.

Actual offered salary may depend on geography, experience, industry knowledge, education, internal pay alignment, or other bona fide factors.
