Payroll Administration Manager
Location: Warsaw / hybrid work
Job Description:
ENGIE Poland is seeking an experienced leader to take responsibility for the standardization, optimization, and integration of HR and payroll processes across 7 companies within the ENGIE Group in Poland. The person in this role will be a key partner in preparing the organization for the implementation of a unified payroll system and will manage the HR and payroll specialists’ team on the Polish level.
Responsibilities:
- Managing the HR and payroll team (work coordination, competence development, substantive supervision).
- Standardizing and optimizing HR and payroll processes across 7 ENGIE companies in Poland.
- Preparing the organization for the implementation of a common payroll system (ERP).
- Ensuring compliance of processes with labor law, social security, tax regulations, and internal policies.
- Cooperating with IT, HR, Finance departments, and external system providers.
- Developing and implementing HR and payroll procedures as well as remuneration policies.
- Monitoring legal changes and ensuring their implementation.
- Preparing reports, analyses, and recommendations for the Management Board.
- Reporting directly to the HR Director Poland.
Requirements:
- Minimum 5 years of managerial experience in HR and payroll, preferably in a multi-company, international, or shared services environment.
- University degree (preferred: economics, management, law, finance).
- Excellent knowledge of labor law, social security, taxation, and regulations concerning the employment of foreigners.
- Experience in HR/payroll system implementation projects (preferred: SAP HR, Enova, Symfonia, or similar).
- Strong change management and transformation project skills.
- Highly developed interpersonal, analytical, and organizational competencies.
- Good command of Polish and English (working proficiency).
