About the Role
We're looking for a Test & Release Analyst to help deliver high-quality technology solutions across a complex enterprise environment. Working closely with project teams, business stakeholders and technology partners, you'll lead testing activities, support production releases and drive continuous improvement across quality management practices.
- Lead end-to-end testing across system, integration, regression and user acceptance testing (UAT), ensuring full requirements coverage.
- Develop and execute manual and automated test solutions, including regression testing, to improve quality and delivery efficiency.
- Manage non-production environments, test data and environment scheduling to support effective testing outcomes.
- Identify, track and resolve defects in partnership with delivery teams, reducing risk and improving system quality.
- Coordinate release readiness, production deployments and post-release validation to support successful business outcomes.
- Contribute to continuous improvement through risk-based testing practices, process enhancements and collaboration across teams.
About You
You're passionate about quality, enjoy solving problems and thrive in collaborative environments. You'll bring experience across both testing and release management, with a practical and solutions-focused approach.
- Tertiary qualification in Information Technology, Computer Science or a related discipline.
- ISTQB Foundation Certification (or equivalent).
- Experience in Test & Release, Quality Assurance or similar roles within complex enterprise environments, ideally in the utilities or energy retail sector.
- Demonstrated experience across system, integration, regression and user acceptance testing, including test automation, API testing and integration validation.
- Hands-on experience with testing and collaboration tools such as JIRA, Zephyr and Confluence.
- Ability to perform SQL queries for testing, data validation and defect investigation.
- Strong organisational, analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to manage competing priorities and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.
