The Opportunity
As part of the Project Delivery team, you’ll manage the delivery of energy generation assets from the lead-up to financial close, to the commencement of commercial operations. We’re flexible on location, join us in Melbourne or Adelaide, travel to the project site will be essential as required.
Key deliverables:
• Oversee the execution of new power generation and storage projects
• Establish and lead the project team
• Ensure high level governance and delivery of project milestones focusing on health and safety, budget, schedule and quality standards
• Manage major contracts, project schedules, budgets and stakeholder engagement
• Utilise project management methodologies to achieve intended outcomes
• Actively identify and mitigate project risks, issues, dependencies and constraints and tackle them head-on
• Build, motivate and lead a project team to achieve outstanding results
• Manage key internal and external stakeholders including regulatory agencies and government bodies.
About you
• Demonstrated experience in planning, coordinating and overseeing large scale renewable energy construction projects from inception to completion, ideally BESS
• A sound understanding of the principles of project management as they relate to engineering and construction
• Demonstrated experience in managing and administering contracts, including negotiation and enforcement of contractual terms
• Proven ability to successfully lead and manage teams, including contractors, engineers and other corporate stakeholders
• Strong problem-solving skills with high attention to detail
