The opportunity:
Our retail energy business is at the forefront of low-carbon products, services and technologies, which help Australian households manage their energy bills and emissions.
Due to an internal move, we have a wonderful opportunity for a sales oriented Product Growth Manager to join our Innovation team in ENGIE Retail.
You will report to the Head of Portfolio Development and Growth, ENGIE Retail Innovation (ERI), and work closely with external distribution partners and referral networks to grow sales for the suite of innovative products in the portfolio. The portfolio includes exposure to rooftop solar, home battery, and new and exciting solutions and services for the electric vehicle market in Australia.
The position is involved in the go to market strategy for ENGIE Retail Innovation products and will suit a commercially oriented individual with a passion for the future direction of energy.
Responsibilities will include:
- Develop and manage sales partnerships with key businesses supporting ERI products, including referral partners
- Identify and manage new business development opportunities which support the growth objectives of ENGIE Retail Innovation. This could include new business models, new channels to market and variations to existing products and solutions to support sales growth. It could also include leading applications for Government grants to support the exploration of new opportunities
- Work in collaboration with ERI team members and the broader ENGIE Retail business to develop systems and processes to support access to sales channels and sales growth opportunities
About you:
- Sales Management experience including channel management and partnership management
- Self-motivated, achievement oriented, well-disciplined and task focussed - with a strong sense of timeliness and an ability to encourage these characteristics in others
- Strong stakeholder and relationship management skills
- Ability to prepare a sales strategy and execute successfully
- Capable of interpreting both short and long term market trends and aligning strategy
- Excellent presentation and communication skills in person and via video
- Empathy for consumers and customers and developing value propositions that address their needs
