Opportunity

Excellent opportunity for a B2B Information Officer to join our Global Energy Management & Sales (GEMS) ANZ business to accelerate the transition to a carbon-neutral economy by ensuring the sales team has access to accurate and relevant data that supports the retention of customers.  The incumbent will provide support with data processing, data entry, administration and research to assist quotation, onboarding and the retention of customers.

 

The role reports to the B2B Performance Manager and can be worked flexibly from our Southbank office and from home.  Ideally, this is a full time role, however reasonable requests for part time work (0.8 FTE) would be considered.

 

Responsibilities:

The B2B Information Officer is part of the B2B Performance team that provides middle office services to the B2B supply business and will be responsible for the following:

B2B sales support

Improve excellence and efficiency in B2B sales by:

  • Assist in the sourcing of data for B2B customers for opportunity prospecting and analysis
  • Complete specific customer data collection, data extraction and basic analysis as required
  • Data Entry/Upload into our CRM and other systems
  • Collaborate with team members on complex tasks
  • Support cross-functional projects of B2B sales & operations.

Business Improvement

Develop competence and confidence in data engagement across the B2B Supply business by:

  • Proactively review of existing data usage practices of the B2B Sales team with a view to improve user experience, reduce effort, and improve time to delivery.
  • Support the evolution, development, and publishing of end-user applications to improve access to data
  • Regularly consult the relevant end-users to ensure data access requirements continue to be fulfilled
  • Assist in educating end on data literacy and optimising utilisation.

Application Maintenance

Support the reliability, transparency, and transferability of information by:

  • Maintain datasets within our systems, updating as required
  • Cross-train in other functions within the team and B2B Supply group

 

About You:

To be successful in this role, you will ideally have experience with data management including report generation, data manipulation, data administration and data validation, preferable gained from an energy retail, telco, utilities or financial sector(s).
