Responsibilities:
- Support the Site Manager in conducting inspections, preventive maintenance, and routine servicing of M&E systems.
- Lead frontline operations, including attending to fault reports, service complaints, and emergency response situations.
- Perform scheduled and corrective maintenance on mechanical and electrical systems to ensure optimal performance and compliance.
- Supervise and be physically present during switching operations of electrical installations, as mandated by relevant statutory authorities.
- Issue and manage safety documentation such as Permit-to-Work (PTW) and "Clear area" certificates in accordance with site protocols.
- Ensure all maintenance activities are carried out in strict adherence to workplace safety and health (WSH) regulations.
- Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, incidents, and equipment performance.
- Undertake any other duties as assigned by the supervisor or management.
Requirements:
- Minimum Higher Nitec in Electrical, Mechanical, Control, or Systems Engineering or equivalent professional qualification.
- Licensed Electrical Worker (LEW) – Grade 7 or valid EMA Electrician License is mandatory.
- Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in electrical control systems, power engineering, or facilities management projects.
- Strong understanding of local codes, regulations, and safety standards related to electrical installations.
- Excellent troubleshooting skills with a hands-on approach to problem-solving.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills with a proactive and positive attitude.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
- Willing to perform standby duties and respond to emergencies outside of regular working hours.
