Responsibilities
As an Electrical Engineer, you will play a vital role in the planning, design, and execution of electrical systems for our diverse construction projects. You will collaborate closely with project managers, architects, and other engineering disciplines to ensure the safe, efficient, and functional electrical infrastructure of our buildings and facilities. Your expertise will be crucial in delivering high-quality projects that meet client specifications and industry standards.
- Provide technical guidance and support to construction teams during the installation and commissioning of electrical systems
- Assist the Project Manager in developing and implementing comprehensive project plans.
- Monitor the progress of electrical work on-site to ensure compliance with design specifications, quality standards, and safety regulations.
- Conduct site inspections and identify and resolve any electrical issues or discrepancies.
- Review contractor submittals and shop drawings for electrical components and systems.
- Ensure all electrical designs and installations comply with relevant local and international building codes, safety regulations, and environmental standards.
- Prepare and maintain accurate project documentation, including design reports, calculations, test results, and as-built drawings.
- Coordinate and liaise with clients, consultants, subcontractors, suppliers, and authorities on project-related matters.
- Attend regular project meetings and provide technical and non-technical solutions to issues.
- Assist in verifying progress payments and claims from contractors
- Maintain accurate project records and documentation
Requirements
- Degree / Diploma in Electrical Engineering
- At least 3 years experience in construction project management
- Strong understanding of construction methodologies, materials, and equipment.
- Excellent organizational, planning, and time management skills.
- Good team player
- Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
