Global Energy Management & Sales (GEMS) Overview |
The Global Energy Management & Sales (GEMS) business unit is the fully integrated trading arm of the ENGIE Group (~100 000 employees). GEMS teams (~3 500 employees) manage a large and highly diversified energy portfolio, including electricity, natural gas, biomass, LNG and other fuels, CO2 and environmental products, and provide a range of trading risk management solutions to all types of market participants in Europe, Asia Pacific and in the Americas. GEMS manages the B2B supply business within ENGIE, including supply contracts and Power Purchase Agreements. Within the GEMS business unit, the Asia PACific Business Platform (BP APAC) is managing and developing the group’s trading activities for the regions around two main pillars: risk management / market access and green solutions. EC MAS is a GEMSers community sharing a commodity risk management expertise, and composed by portfolio managers, traders and Market Activities Oversight team spread across the world. We nurture a commodity risk management ecosystem, that we want safe, fair, digital and efficient. EC MAS differentiates GEMS thanks to the quality and the transversality of the risk management expertise. |
Role Purpose |
As a key participant in the implementation of BP APAC business development plan, the purpose of the role is to support both EC Commercial (Origination/Structuring) and EC MAS (Trading) colleagues through their processes and performance. |
