We are looking for a Senior Spot Buyer to join our Procurement Spot Buy Team. In this role, you will manage complex sourcing activities, advise stakeholders, and help shape how we procure intellectual services, software, and equipment. Your expertise will directly contribute to smarter, faster, and more compliant procurement across ENGIE.

 

 

- Manage end-to-end spot buying activities for consultants, software, and equipment based on Group agreements across IT, Technical Assistance, and Functional Assistance categories.

- Act as a trusted advisor to internal stakeholders on procurement processes, supplier selection, and Vendor Management System (VMS) usage.

- Handle high-volume, time-sensitive procurement campaigns including renewals for GBS IT, ENGIE DIGITAL, GEMS, and E&C.

- Ensure governance compliance and VMS data quality while defining and improving usage policies and best practices.

- Deliver advanced KPI reporting, analysis, and actionable insights to Category Managers, Global Buyers, and business entities.

- Identify and drive process improvement opportunities that support procurement transformation initiatives.

- Coach and support junior team members on operational topics, best practices, and onboarding activities.

 

 

- Bachelor's degree in procurement, business, economics, or a related field.

- 3 to 5+ years of experience in procurement, sourcing, or purchasing activities.

- Strong knowledge of Vendor Management Systems, procurement governance, and contractual principles.

- Experience procuring intellectual services, IT solutions, or managing vendor relationships is a strong advantage.

- Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills with a customer-oriented mindset.

- Strong analytical thinking and the ability to manage complexity and ambiguity in a fast-paced environment.

- French at C1 level or above (mandatory) and English at B2 level or above (mandatory), both written and spoken.
