- Analyse day-ahead, real-time, and forward market data to support bidding strategies and maximize scheduling and portfolio revenues across renewable and battery assets.

 

- Manage power forecasting and scheduling activities, including demand and generation forecasting, deviation management, and DSM exposure coordination with system operators.

 

- Track price trends, volatility, liquidity, and merchant exposure to assess market risks and identify revenue optimization opportunities.

 

- Collaborate with the Operations team to monitor asset performance, identify improvement areas, and propose new power plant optimization strategies.

 

- Support the Business Development team by analysing tender requirements, assessing merchant risk, and quantifying potential revenue upsides for competitive bids.

 

- Engage with the Supply and Energy Management team to evaluate Commercial and Industrial opportunities and develop aligned commercial structures.

 

- Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly reports on financial performance, S-P metrics, and risk KPIs while ensuring compliance with exchange rules and market regulations.

 

 

- Bachelor's degree in Economics, Finance, or Engineering. MBA from a premier institute is preferred.

 

- 8+ years of experience in energy trading and commercial management, with strong exposure to power markets.

 

- Demonstrated expertise in renewable energy (solar, wind, hybrid projects) and familiarity with the Commercial and

Industrial segment.

 

- Deep knowledge of energy markets, offtake agreements, power marketing, product structuring, and risk management frameworks.

 

- Outstanding analytical skills with proven experience using advanced valuation and market models.

 

- Proficiency in MS Office, particularly Excel, PowerPoint, and Word.

 

- Excellent communication and presentation skills with the ability to influence cross-functional stakeholders.
