Responsibilities:
a. Ensure on time delivery of Services and works are carried out in compliance with the specified Scope of Works and Contract Document.
b. Remain constantly on site and shall if requested by the Authority, accompany him to attend any site inspection or to conduct briefings and inspections.
c. Prepare cost estimates and budgetary quotes on improvement project proposal
d. Represent the Contractor in all communications with the Authority under the Contract.
e. Co-ordinating and integrating all work performed under the Services.
f. Monitor and report to the Authority on the progress of all work in connection to the Contract.
g. Prepare, monitor maintenance budget and progress payments and ensure cash flow projections are met.
h. Prepare, monitor and control work schedule.
i. Lead and supervise the work of technical and non-technical staff, tradesmen and workers in performing inspections, general, scheduled & breakdown maintenance, repairs & improvement project works.
j. Ensure all systems and elements under the Contract are maintained and all works and services are carried out in compliance with all relevant legislations, acts, regulations, building and statutory requirements, codes of practice, good industry practice and requirements of the contract and goods supplied are in compliance with approved standards & quality and according to contract requirements.
k. Be responsible for all staff and sub-contractors under the Contractor to comply with WSH regulations, pandemic measures/safe management measures, house and safety rules and security requirements pertaining to works on site, staffs’welfare and health, environmental management and performance and
the like for the satisfactory completion of the Contract.
l. Ensure the team practice and comply with the fire safety rules and measures within the Site
i. To keep Authority informed on any potential fire hazards identified;
ii. To ensure that vital firefighting equipment are not displaced or removed unnecessarily;
iii. To ensure the equipment room, electrical risers are not obstructed and/or misused as store;
iv. To carry out diligently regular checks on fire extinguishers, fire alarm system, fire protection systems, etc. as specified in the Schedule of M&E Equipment List
l. Any other duties assigned by the Authority.
Requirements:
a. Degree in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering or other relevant engineering with minimum 5 years relevant experience, or
b. Diploma in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering or other relevant engineering with minimum 8 years relevant experience and with a minimum of 3 years relevant experience as a Manager or Assistant Site Manager or Service Engineer.
