Maintenance Technician I
We are looking for a Maintenance Technician I to carry out and organize preventive, predictive, and corrective maintenance activities on equipment, aiming to maintain the availability and reliability of the Plant, in compliance with company standards and current legislation.
Responsibilities:
- Contribute to the availability, reliability, conservation, and proper functioning of the Plant's equipment by performing preventive, predictive, and corrective maintenance activities, tests, participating in the commissioning of new systems, and monitoring contracted maintenance services.
- Contribute to the improvement of maintenance processes through self-development and the suggestion of new ideas, organizing and executing work with quality, following company procedures.
- Restore the operational conditions of the Plant's equipment to maintain operational reliability through continuous improvement, by studying and suggesting new ideas applicable to the generation process.
- Maintain technical records of equipment by preparing reports, filling out forms, and updating technical documentation.
- Specify materials, issue purchase requisitions, inspect, and receive materials.
Mandatory Requirements:
- Basic knowledge of plant equipment and systems.
- Basic knowledge of health and safety standards and applicable regulations.
- Basic knowledge of human performance programs.
- Basic computer skills: word processing, spreadsheets, presentations, internet, email.
- Basic knowledge of integrated management systems.
- Basic knowledge of maintenance management tools and software, and technical documentation.
- Basic knowledge of procedures, processes, plans, methods, and maintenance techniques, material specification and procurement.
- Basic writing and public speaking skills.
- Basic ability to read and interpret technical drawings and flowcharts.
- Basic ability to read and interpret technical equipment manuals.
- Active CFT (Technical Professional Registration).
- Valid driver’s license.
