Your mission

As Mechanical / Process Engineer, you will support design review, field engineering, and ensure technical compliance across all phases of the project.

 

Responsibilities

  • Support project design review and provide field engineering support during construction phases.
  • Prepare and review technical documentation, including drawings, budgets, schedules, and commissioning/start-up reports, ensuring accuracy and compliance.
  • Act as a liaison between internal stakeholders, project teams, and clients to ensure effective communication and coordination.
  • Provide technical guidance to data center services and operations teams, ensuring alignment with regional standards and project requirements.
  • Address engineering requests, resolve technical issues, and support project-specific adaptations in coordination with multidisciplinary teams.
  • Ensure quality assurance and control processes are followed, supporting vendors and overseeing testing and commissioning activities.
  • Collaborate with engineering teams to integrate new technologies and adapt designs to local standards and project specifications.
  • Support vendor management processes, including RFPs, bidding, change orders, quality control, and RFI/submittal tracking.

 

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Process Engineering, or related field.
  • Strong knowledge of Chilean technical standards and regulations (water systems, fire protection, hazardous substances, and safety design).
  • Minimum 8+ years of experience in industrial or critical infrastructure projects (data centers, pharmaceutical, manufacturing, oil & gas, petrochemical, laboratory, power, water, etc.).
  • Solid technical expertise in cooling systems, diesel generators, fire protection, and piping systems in large-scale construction projects.
  • Proven experience working in multidisciplinary teams within complex engineering environments.
  • Full professional fluency in English and Spanish (mandatory).
  • Experience in hyperscale or mission-critical projects (preferred).
  • Ability to work on-site in a construction environment.
