Your mission

As Mechanical / Process Engineer, you will support design, engineering, and on-site execution for a Data Center project, ensuring compliance with technical standards, quality, and project requirements.

Responsibilities

• Support project design review and provide field engineering support.
• Prepare and review project documentation (drawings, budgets, schedules, commissioning/start-up reports).
• Act as liaison between internal stakeholders, project teams, and clients.
• Provide technical guidance to operations and project teams, ensuring alignment with regional standards.
• Address engineering requests and resolve technical issues on-site.
• Ensure quality assurance and control standards, supporting testing and commissioning phases.
• Adapt engineering designs to local standards and project specifications.
• Support vendor management activities (RFPs, bidding processes, change orders, RFIs, submittals, quality control).

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Process Engineering, or related field.
• Knowledge of local Chilean standards (water systems, fire protection, hazardous substances, safety design).
• Minimum 8+ years of experience in industrial or critical projects (data centers, oil & gas, power, water, pharmaceutical, etc.).
• Strong technical knowledge in cooling systems, diesel generators, fire protection, and piping systems.
• Experience working in multidisciplinary environments.
• Proven experience in mission-critical or Data Center projects (preferred).
• Full professional fluency in English and Spanish (mandatory).
• Ability to work on-site in a construction environment.
• Ability to work in multicultural environments (interview will be conducted in English).
