Your mission
As a Document Controller, you will be responsible for managing and maintaining the project’s document control processes, ensuring accuracy, traceability, compliance, and timely distribution of all technical and administrative documentation throughout the project lifecycle.
Responsibilities
- Manage the project document control system, ensuring proper coding, registration, distribution, filing, and archiving of documentation.
- Maintain updated document databases, ensuring full traceability and version control.
- Coordinate the receipt, review, and issuance of technical, administrative, and contractual documents.
- Ensure compliance with client and company document control procedures and standards.
- Support preparation of project deliverables for audits, inspections, and project close-out activities.
- Provide guidance and support to project teams regarding document management systems and processes.
- Generate periodic document control reports, including tracking of pending documents and critical deadlines.
- Coordinate with contractors, vendors, and multidisciplinary teams to ensure efficient document flow and communication.
- Support quality assurance processes related to documentation management and control.
Requirements
- Technical or professional degree in Administration, Engineering, or related field.
- Experience in document control within engineering, construction, infrastructure, or technology projects.
- Knowledge of document management systems such as SharePoint, Aconex, Documentum, or similar platforms.
- Strong proficiency in MS Office tools, especially Excel and Word.
- Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, communication, and teamwork abilities.
- Ability to work effectively in multidisciplinary and fast-paced project environments.
- Availability to work on-site in Santiago Metropolitan Area.
- Experience in mission-critical or Data Center projects is highly valued.
- Professional fluency in English and Spanish is considered a plus.
