Your purpose at ENGIE

As Commissioning Supervisor - Control and Protections, you will perform and supervise commissioning activities in new renewable generation facilities, in order to ensure the design, preparation of technical specifications, planning, execution of tests and commissioning of these facilities. These tasks will be carried out in coordination with EPC contractors, BOP or external specialists, ensuring compliance with the standards set by the company.

You will coordinate all areas involved in the process, facilitating the availability of technical information to the corresponding management, identifying opportunities for improvement and applying industry best practices. Your role will be key to contribute to ENGIE's profitability, growth and sustainability, aligned with defined KPIs, policies, procedures and budgets.

 

Your main responsibilities

  • Perform and supervise all stages of engineering development in Control and Protections, including specifications, basic engineering, detailed engineering, construction, and as-built documentation.

  • Manage engineering contracts (Contractor, EPC, BOP, or supply), ensuring compliance with scope, schedule, and industry best practices.

  • Coordinate internal and contractor activities, aligning efforts with implementation teams, operations, CEN, and other relevant areas to meet standards and deadlines.

  • Lead facility commissioning and grid connection processes, managing deviations and ensuring accurate handover to Operations & Maintenance (O&M).

  • Apply industry best practices and Health, Safety, and Environment (HSE) methodologies throughout all project phases.

  • Promote efficient resource utilization, adherence to internal policies, and a culture of continuous improvement.

  • Represent ENGIE's culture through leadership, openness, empathy, and accountability.

What we expect from you:

  • Professional degree: Electrical, Electronic, Industrial Civil Engineering or equivalent.
  • Use of quality management systems applied in projects (certification processes, audits, follow-up of non-conformities).
  • Detailed knowledge in Electrical Control and Protections.
  • Test equipment handling (Omicron CPC356 or similar).
  • Knowledge in electrical fault analysis, primary and secondary equipment testing.
  • Advanced Excel.
  • Technical English.
  • Technical knowledge in the areas of Transmission and Generation.
  • Key competencies: leadership, achievement orientation,
  • At least 7 years of specific experience in similar functions.
  • Total work experience of at least 12 years.

📍Location: According to assigned site or project

🕓Working day: Full time / Full time
