Your Mission
As a BIM Modeler / Designer with an Electrical focus, you will support the development and coordination of electrical systems for Data Center, Industrial, and Power Generation projects. You will work primarily with Revit and BIM methodologies, collaborating with multidisciplinary engineering teams to develop coordinated and high-quality project deliverables.
Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain MEP models in Revit, with a primary focus on electrical systems.
- Model electrical systems, equipment, and associated infrastructure based on engineering information and design requirements.
- Support the development and interpretation of Single-Line Diagrams (SLD) and other electrical engineering documentation.
- Produce drawings, layouts, sections, details, and schedules directly from coordinated BIM models.
- Identify and resolve spatial coordination issues and clashes within multidisciplinary models.
- Support BIM coordination and model reviews using Autodesk Construction Cloud (ACC) / Autodesk Forma.
- Follow project BIM standards, naming conventions, modeling requirements, and coordination procedures.
- Work according to BIM processes aligned with ISO 19650.
- Collaborate with engineers, designers, and BIM coordinators across local and international project teams.
Requirements
- Minimum 2 years of professional experience in BIM modeling and/or design.
- Demonstrable professional experience developing MEP systems in Revit, particularly electrical modeling.
- Ability to understand and work from electrical drawings, Single-Line Diagrams (SLD), equipment layouts, and engineering documentation.
- Experience working in multidisciplinary BIM environments.
- Knowledge of Autodesk Construction Cloud (ACC) / Autodesk Forma.
- Understanding of BIM methodologies and coordination workflows.
- Knowledge of BIM standards, preferably ISO 19650.
- Specialized BIM training in modeling and/or coordination. Accredited BIM training hours will be considered an asset.
- English proficiency sufficient to participate in project meetings and technical discussions. The interview process will include an interview in English.
- Availability to work on-site at the Tractebel office in Las Condes, Santiago.
