Your mission  
As Quantity Surveyor  (Data Center Projects) you will be responsible for the commercial management and cost control of Civil, Structural, and Architectural works for large-scale Data Center projects. The role requires strong and proven experience in Data Centers, with a deep understanding of CSA packages, high-quality standards, fast-track delivery, and complex contractor interfaces. The QS will support the project team throughout the full project lifecycle, from pre-construction to final account closure, ensuring cost certainty, contractual compliance, and effective change management.

Your key responsibilities  

Cost Management & Commercial Control

•    Prepare, review, and manage CSA cost plans, budgets, and cash flows

•    Monitor costs against budget and report deviations, risks, and opportunities

•    Support value engineering and cost optimization initiatives

Procurement & Contract Management

•    Support tendering processes for CSA packages

•    Review and evaluate bids, commercial proposals, and contract conditions

•    Assist in contract negotiations and award recommendations

•    Ensure compliance with contractual and commercial requirements

Change & Claims Management

•    Assess variations, change orders, and claims related to CSA works

•    Evaluate entitlement, pricing, and impact on schedule and budget

•    Support negotiation and resolution of commercial disputes

Payment & Financial Reporting

•    Review contractor payment applications and certify progress payments

•    Track commitments, forecasts, and final costs

•    Prepare regular cost reports for internal and client stakeholders

Data Center–Specific Responsibilities

•    Manage CSA scopes typical to Data Centers

•    Ensure alignment with DC standards, phasing constraints, and fast-track construction requirements

•    Coordinate closely with MEP QS teams and construction management

 

 
We would love to hear from people with  

•   Degree in Quantity Surveying, Construction Economics, Civil Engineering, or equivalent
•    Extensive experience as a Quantity Surveyor (CSA) on Data Center projects
•    Proven background managing large-scale, complex CSA packages
•    Experience working in fast-track and/or phased Data Center construction environments

 
Who you are   
•    Strong contractual and commercial acumen
•    Excellent cost control, reporting, and negotiation skills
•    In-depth understanding of CSA construction methods and DC requirements 
•    Ability to work in multidisciplinary, high-pressure project environments
•    Strong communication skills and stakeholder management
