The Role:
The Finance Systems Manager will lead the integration, optimization, and day-to-day management of critical finance systems including SAP, Concur, Coupa, and Adaptive. This role bridges Finance and Digital teams to drive operational efficiency, support system implementation, and improve financial processes across the organization. The ideal candidate brings strong technical and accounting knowledge, experience with enterprise finance platforms, and the ability to develop scalable processes, reporting structures, and policy documentation.
Role Responsibilities:
- Lead integration efforts across SAP, Concur, and Coupa, ensuring alignment with business needs and compliance standards.
- Serve as primary lead for Adaptive Insights, building and maintaining financial planning models, structures, and reports.
- Drive requirement gathering, testing, and implementation efforts in partnership with the Digital/IT team.
- Develop and maintain process documentation, including approval structures and segregation of duties (SOD).
- Build and manage new structures in SAP and Adaptive to support evolving business operations.
- Develop and maintain robust financial reporting and dashboards across platforms.
- Consolidate SRM activities, lead the intercompany reconciliation process, and perform data mapping to streamline financial transactions.
- Support the interim ERP solution for UK operations using Excel-based systems while a long-term platform is implemented.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to help establish Travel, Accounts Receivable (AR), and Accounts Payable (AP) functions.
- Identify and implement process improvements across the entire accounting department, including policy development and standard operating procedures.
- Provide cross-functional leadership on systems-related finance projects and change initiatives
Experience and Education

- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Information Systems, or related field required; CPA or MBA is a plus.
- 5+ years of experience managing or supporting financial systems, ideally including SAP, Concur, Coupa, and Adaptive Insights.
- Strong understanding of financial processes (GL, AP, AR, FP&A), intercompany transactions, and system integrations.
- Experience developing process flows, documentation, and policy frameworks.
- Hands-on experience with Excel for data management and reporting during interim system transitions.
Skills and Abilities:
- Strong verbal, written and interpersonal skills.
- Experience with Microsoft Office suite of products
- Familiarity with systems; Salesforce, ADP, and other internal transversal process systems
- Excellent analytical, organizational, and communication skills.
Physical Abilities
- Ability to bend, stoop, reach, stand, move from one area of the building to another on a regular basis, sit and use a computer for a long period of time.
- Manual and physical dexterity needed to operate a computer keyboard and handle paper documents.
- Adequate hearing and verbal abilities to communicate effectively in person, by telephone, and by video call.
- Sufficient near vision acuity to read information appearing on computer display screen, in handwritten forms, and printed on paper.
- Ability to lift and carry items weighing up to 50 pounds.
- Entering text or data into a computer or other machine by means of a traditional keyboard.
- The ability to hear, understand, and distinguish speech and/or other sounds (e.g., machinery alarms, medical codes or alarms) in multiple forms; in person speech; telephone, other remote speech
- Clarity of vision at approximately 20 inches or less (i.e., working with small objects or reading small print), including use of computers.
Work Environment
- Work schedules are determined by business need and manager discretion; full time employment is considered 40 hours per week.
- Most desk work will be performed remotely. Occasional visits to ENGIE offices may be required.
- As a global organization, attending meetings and events during early mornings and evenings may be required.
- Performing duties and attending events during the evening and on the weekend occurs occasionally and may be required.

The target pay range for this role is $97,000-$139,150.
Pay range is based on several factors and may vary in addition to a full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits. Final salary and offer will be determined by the applicant’s background, experience, skills, internal equity, and alignment with geographical market data. This position is eligible for our comprehensive and competitive benefits package including medical, dental, vision, and basic life insurance.
