CRM APPLICATION DEVELOPER 

SUMMARY:

  • CRM Applications Developer is responsible for designing, building, and maintaining custom applications, features, and integrations within the Salesforce platform to support organization strategy in the management of CRM targets and deliverables.

PRIMARY FUNCTIONS AND ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES: 

  • Create complex workflows, triggers, APEX code, validation rules, and integrate AppExchange and legacy platforms.
  • Develop API integrations to support enterprise solutions and services.
  • Lead adherence to best practices in technical documentation, development, configuration, customization, and code management.
  • Manage data quality and integrity.
  • Create reports to support analytics and business intelligence.
  • Collaborate with peers and stakeholders to gather and analyze requirements, estimating the effort needed to deliver scalable, high-performance, and secure solutions.
  • Oversee daily support and maintenance of the Salesforce instance and clients.
  • Work with project managers, clients, and developers to ensure effectiveness throughout development, testing, deployment, and support phases.
  • Maintain a flexible and proactive work environment to quickly respond to changing project requirements and customer objectives, innovating ways to meet mission goals.
  • Interact with clients, end users, and managers to analyze project objectives and requirements, including specifications for user interfaces, custom applications, and integrations with internal systems.
  • Provide support for the Salesforce environment, focusing on declarative applications, user permissions, security settings, custom objects, and workflow rules.
  • Design, develop, and maintain Salesforce environments and practices according to architectural standards and tools.
  • Stay updated on Salesforce functionality, best practices, and industry standards.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve code defects that arise during development and deployment.

QUALIFICATIONS AND REQUIREMENTS: 

  • Education/ Certifications/ Experience
    • Bachelor's Degree required in one of the following fields; Business Administration, Computer Science, Information Systems or a related field
    • 5+ years of experience as a SFDC Platform App Builder with Sales Cloud and Service, including configuration and declarative tools to automate processes such as Lightning App Builder, Process Builder, workflows, lightning flows, triggers and approval processes.
    • Preferred Salesforce certifications include: Administration, Platform App Builder.
    • Salesforce Lightning experience preferred.
    • Programming languages such as Java, Apex, SQL and .net is preferred
    • Strong knowledge and experience in System Development Life Cycle (SDLC), Agile and/or Project management practices.
    • May consider a combination of relevant experience with educational and other skills and abilities in lieu of educational requirements
  • Competencies/ Skills/ Abilities
    • Highly proficient in the Salesforce CRM platform, including its architecture and functionality.
    • Experienced in the software development lifecycle, testing, deployment, and release management.
    • Skilled in designing customer-facing interfaces.
    • Strong declarative development experience with configurations, process builders, workflows, flows, Lightning components, Lightning App Builder, approval processes, validation rules, and triggers.
    • Knowledgeable about security and access management best practices.
    • Strong understanding of data modeling practices and design.
    • Familiar with Salesforce limits and development practices to ensure optimal performance.
    • Able to work within a defined change management structure and provide occasional after-hours support for issues and project launches.
    • Strong critical thinking, analytical, and problem-solving skills in a fast-paced environment while managing various requests.
    • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to build sustainable applications.
    • Analytical problem solver with expertise in declarative automation and Salesforce ecosystem features.
    • Excellent interpersonal and organizational skills, able to communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
    • Capable of understanding client requirements from diverse sectors and translating them into a compelling vision and roadmap.
    • Self-starter with experience in leading projects or delivery work streams.
    • Ability to visually and verbally demonstrate concepts to enable confident decision-making by stakeholders.
    • Strategic approach to solution design, with proven ability to develop and execute tactical plans.
    • Excellent knowledge of Scrum, Agile, SAFe, DevOps, and tools like ADO, Jira, and Confluence.
    • Experience with Salesforce and software implementation across the entire Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC).

The pay range for this role is: $82,450-139,150

    • Pay range is based on several factors and may vary in addition to a full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits. Final salary and offer will be determined by the applicant’s background, experience, skills, internal equity, and alignment with geographical market data. This position is eligible for our comprehensive and competitive benefits package including medical, dental, vision, and basic life insurance. Additional ENGIE benefits include a 401k plan, paid time off and annual bonus. ENGIE complies with all federal, state, and local minimum wage laws

WORK ENVIRONMENT:

  • Work schedules are determined by business need and manager discretion; full time employment is considered 40 hours per week
