We are currently searching for Junior Energy Operations & Settlement Intern in S&EM Italy, based in Rome.

WHAT WILL YOU DO?

• Support monthly settlement activities for renewable energy production assets;
• Assist in the verification and validation of production measurements through Terna and internal systems;
• Monitor metering data quality and support the resolution of discrepancies or missing measurements;
• Contribute to imbalance monitoring and operational reporting activities;
• Support the publication of settlement results and related communication with stakeholders;
• Collaborate with internal teams (Back Office, Portfolio Management, Risk, IT and Trading) on operational matters;
• Assist in interactions with producers, distributors, Terna, GSE and other market participants;
• Support periodic reporting, KPI monitoring and process improvement initiatives;

• Contribute to annual reconciliation and regulatory compliance activities.

ABOUT YOU:

1. Degree/Experience:

• Technical Diploma (Electrotechnics, Electronics, Energy Systems) or Bachelor's/Master's Degree in Energy Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Management Engineering or related disciplines;
• ITS qualifications in Energy, Electrical Systems or Renewable Energy are also considered suitable. An excellent aptitude for quantitative analysis and probabilistic modelling is appreciated;
• Good knowledge of Microsoft Excel (Pivot Tables, Lookup Functions, Data Analysis);
• Ability to manage and analyze technical and operational data;
• Knowledge of Power BI, SQL or other data analysis tools is considered a plus;
• Basic understanding of renewable energy systems and electricity markets is considered a plus.
