We are currently searching for Electrical, Energy, or Mechanical Engineer to join our team GBU S&EM, based in Rome. The ideal candidate will have strong analytical skills, operational experience in the energy sector, and a passion for innovation and sustainability.

What will you do?
Under the supervision of the Energy Service & Power Solution Manager, you will have to do the following tasks:

  • High-Efficiency Cogeneration Certification (CAR): Prepare documentation for CAR qualification and support the recognition of related incentives. Participate in technical inspections and GSE audits.
  • Natural Gas Transport Tariff Compensation: Manage compensation processes for natural gas transport tariffs used in electricity generation at thermoelectric power plants (DEL 96 – RETEE and/or OSSTUI components).
  • District Heating and Steam Supply Contracts: Administer district heating agreements and steam supply contracts.
  • Power Forecasting Models: Process data to update forecasting models for wind, solar, and thermoelectric power generation.

In collaboration with the other members of the team handle

  • Emission Trading System (ETS): Oversee ETS-related activities, including CO₂ emissions verification, procedure updates, monitoring plan management, and annual emissions reporting.
  • Metering management: Oversee the collection, validation, and reporting of daily, monthly, and annual data related to electricity, natural gas, and weather measurements.
  • KPI Data Provision: Supply validated data for the performance indicators (KPIs) of all managed production plants.
  • TERNA web portals management: ConsC (Submit fuel consumption data of thermal power plants), GSTAT (Submit statistical production and consumption data of thermal and wind power plants as required by national regulations), AGILE (Report and manage the unavailability of production units > 10 MW and grid elements), GAUDI (Maintain and update the unified registry of power plants.

About YOU

  • Master Degree in Electrical or Energy or Mechanical Engineering
  • Knowledge of the Italian Energy Market and of its main regulatory frameworks.
  • At least 3 years of hands-on experience in the energy and utility sector, with direct involvement in operational processes.
  • Experience with GSE incentive mechanisms such as TEE CAR, GRIN and FER. Familiarity with energy audits in the industrial sector is a plus.
  • Ability to analyze complex datasets and identify solutions.
  • Strong computer skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Office and excel data analysis tools.
  • Excellent communication, collaboration, time management, and problem-solving skills.
  • Fluency in English.

Type of contract:

Permanent contract according to local labour law.
