What You Can Expect

As our Retail Operations, Senior Analyst, you will play a critical role in supporting the operational efficiency and accuracy of retail energy services. This position ensures timely and accurate validations, reconciliations, and resolution of a various customer segmentations. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, analytical, and thrives in a fast-paced, collaborative environment. This position sits in Houston, TX reporting to the Commissions and Cash App, Director.

 

  • Perform analysis and research discrepancies for Utility Consolidated Billed account to ensure timeliness and accuracy of payment transactions in ERP system to depository bank
  • Collaborate with internal teams (Sales, Billing, Care, Customer Lifecycle, Legal, and Accounting) to resolve inquiries timely
  • Document and maintain standard operating procedures (SOPs)

 

 

What You’ll Bring

  • You hold a Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Accounting, related fields, in lieu of a degree you have five (5) years of experience in retail energy operations
  • You have a solid understanding of general accounting practices and experience preparing and reporting financial adjustment entries to sub-ledger and G/L
  • You are knowledgeable in energy markets, retail billing systems, and cross-functional principles including order-to-cash processes
  • You are proficient in Excel, ERP systems, and financial reporting tools, with the ability to analyze and reconcile variances
  • You have excellent communication, listening, and problem-solving skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines
  • You are experienced in reviewing monthly Retail AR aging reports, troubleshooting discrepancies, and driving timely resolutions
  • You have the ability to adapt to changing business needs, participate in cross-functional projects, and suggest process improvements to enhance the customer experience

 

 

Additional Details

  • This role is eligible for our hybrid work policy three (3) days in office two remote days
  • Must be willing and able to comply with all ENGIE ethics and safety policies

 

Compensation

Salary Range: $67,500 – $103,385 USD annually

 

This represents the average expected pay range for a qualified candidate.

 

ENGIE complies with all federal, state, and local minimum wage laws. Actual salary offered may vary depending on geography, experience, education, internal pay alignment, or other bona fide factors. 

 

In addition to base pay, this position is eligible for a competitive bonus / incentive plan.
