The Sr Director, Financial Controller Role:
This role plays a key leadership role in managing accounting and financial operations across multiple international entities, including the United States, Philippines, and Chile. The position is responsible for maintaining financial compliance, ensuring accurate reporting, and overseeing internal controls across jurisdictions while guiding and developing finance teams globally. The role also carries clear accountability for owning and executing a multi‑year transformation vision. A strong emphasis is placed on building financial acumen across the business, driving self‑service capabilities, and demonstrating robust change leadership and stakeholder influence.
In This Role, You Will:
- Financial Leadership & Oversight
- Lead and manage the accounting functions across US, Philippines, and Chile entities.
- Ensure timely and accurate monthly, quarterly, and annual close processes across all locations.
- Consolidate financial results across all entities for global reporting.
- Compliance & Regulatory Reporting
- Acts as the company’s primary authority on accounting policy, technical accounting, and financial reporting standards.
- Serves as the in-house expert on US GAAP/IFRS, responsible for interpreting, implementing, and updating accounting policies in line with evolving standards and business needs.
- Leads the design and implementation of accounting policies tailored for a standalone private entity, ensuring compliance with GAAP/IFRS and meeting the needs of lenders, investors, and internal governance. Serves as the primary technical accounting authority, capable of transitioning from public company standards to a right-sized private company environment.
- Ensure compliance with U.S. GAAP, local statutory regulations, and tax requirements in all operating countries.
- Coordinate with external auditors (US, Philippines, Chile) for year-end audits and statutory filings.
- Oversee local tax filings (VAT, income tax, etc.) and liaise with local accounting firms where applicable.
- Internal Controls & Process Improvement
- Develop and maintain effective internal controls and accounting policies.
- Streamline accounting processes across entities for consistency and efficiency.
- Implement financial systems and tools to support global financial operations.
- Business Partnership & Strategic Suppor
- Serve as a business partner to local and corporate leadership to support strategic decision-making.
- Provide financial insights and recommendations for cost optimization and operational performance.
- Support budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis in collaboration with FP&A.

- ERP implementation
- SAP, NetSuite, Workday or other ERP tool expertise
- Experience leading a step‑change transformation inclusive of ERP implementation and other stakeholder and workflow optimization efforts influencing stakeholders at all levels.
- Demonstrated experience leading ERP implementations for accounting functions, including system selection, migration, and optimization—ideally with exposure to platforms such as SAP, NetSuite, or Workday.
- Champion automation and analytics (e.g., close orchestration, reconciliations, workflow, BI dashboards) to improve speed, accuracy, and insight.

Leverages AI‑enabled tools and automation to modernize financial processes, enhance reporting accuracy and efficiency, and build a future‑ready finance organization.
- Comfort using Generative AI tools (e.g., Microsoft Copilot or similar finance‑oriented AI assistants) to automate low‑value tasks, accelerate analysis, enhance reporting, and improve team productivity.
What You’ll Bring:

- Managing outsource providers - PwC (Chile tax and accounting), others that we have or will have
- Responsible to proactively partner with Business to build financial acumen across the business Will need to educate and empower leaders, not just provide analysis.
- Strong relationship with FP&A - close collaboration

- Education and Experience:
- Bachelor's Degree preferred in one of the following fields; accounting, finance or related field.
- CPA Preferred
- 10+ years of progressive accounting experience, including international accounting leadership.
- Strong knowledge of U.S. GAAP and experience with local reporting in the Philippines and Chile.
- Proven track record in managing multinational teams and operations.
- Experience with ERP systems (e.g., NetSuite, SAP, Oracle)
- May consider a combination of relevant experience with educational and other skills and abilities in lieu of educational requirements
Work Environment:
- A majority of our employees work remotely or in hybrid roles and we have locations across the country and around the globe.
- This role is expected to travel 10% of the time.

The target pay range for this position is $148,000-$210,000.
In accordance with Pay Transparency requirements, the pay range above represents a good faith estimate of the compensation range for this position.
