What You Can Expect

The Construction QA/QC Advisor is a part-time, temporary role responsible for ensuring that all approved plans and installations meet the requirements of the National Electric Code and  any other pertinent regulations or standards. Activities will be focused on our utility scale solar plant, battery storage, and substation projects in Texas on an as needed basis.  This role begins no earlier than October 27, 2025 and is anticipated to last until October 23, 2026.

 

On a daily or as needed basis you will oversee electrical work:

  • Provide general supervision and oversight for all electrical work performed by the assigned electrical contractor
  • You will manage compliance, ensuring all work adheres to the latest version of the National Electrical Code (NEC) and other local and state regulations
  • You will be responsible for securing necessary permits with local authorities

 

 

What You’ll Bring

  • You will have a minimum of a High School Diploma with a (Texas Department of Licensing and Regulation) issued Master Electrician license
  • You will possess a minimum of eight (8) years’ experience   In the Commercial or Industrial Electrical field with experience in renewable energy installation

 

 

Additional Details

  • This role requires attendance at worksites as necessary
  • Must be available to travel domestically with possible overnight stays
  • Must possess a valid state issued driver’s license with a clean driving record our projects are not accessible by public transportation and may require operation of company owned vehicles
  • Must be willing and able to comply and champion all ENGIE ethics and safety policies
  • This position consists of 60% of outdoor work, while performing the duties of this job, the employee is exposed to weather conditions
  • Ability to meet highest attendance requirements
  • Ability to communicate effectively, both written and verbally.
  • Ability to handle multiple assignments on a timely basis with a high degree of accuracy
  • Ability to use personal computer, calculator, etc.
  • Could involve some lifting

 

Compensation

Hourly Range:  $47.60 - $72.98 USD hourly

 

This represents the average expected pay range for a qualified candidate.

 

Actual offered salary may depend on geography, experience, industry knowledge, education, internal pay alignment, or other bona fide factors.
