MANAGER, Solutions and Content Marketing

SUMMARY:

The Solutions and Content Marketing Manager is responsible for developing and executing content-driven marketing strategies that support tiered programs and campaigns, enhance brand and solution positioning, prioritize SEO, and enable the sales organization. This role curates and creates a variety of assets—such as reports, thought leadership, videos, presentations and case studies—aligned to specific buyer personas, industry sectors, and strategic themes.

PRIMARY FUNCTIONS AND ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES: Leadership/ Financial Accountability/ Client Engagement/ Decision Making

Team Leadership & Development

  • Lead, mentor, and develop a team of content and solutions marketers.
  • Set clear goals, manage performance, and support individual development plans.
  • Foster a collaborative, feedback-rich environment where the team can thrive.

Content & Messaging Strategy

  • Oversee development of high-impact content (e.g., blogs, whitepapers, case studies, videos) aligned to buyer journeys and sales enablement needs.
  • Partner with product marketing to transform technical features into compelling customer-facing narratives.
  • Ensure consistent brand voice and messaging across all channels and content types.

Solutions Marketing

  • Translate product capabilities into customer value propositions and solution themes that resonate with target personas.
  • Collaborate with sales, customer success, and product teams to align on messaging and solution positioning.
  • Lead cross-functional launches of new solutions, ensuring content and messaging are integrated into GTM plans.

Operational Excellence

  • Measure and report on content performance and solution campaign outcomes to optimize strategy.
  • Manage editorial calendars, content workflows, and agency/vendor relationships as needed.
  • Champion tools, processes, and best practices to scale content creation and marketing execution.

The pay range for this role is: $ 71,000-120,000

Pay range is based on several factors and may vary in addition to a full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits. Final salary and offer will be determined by the applicant’s background, experience, skills, internal equity, and alignment with geographical market data. This position is eligible for our comprehensive and competitive benefits package including medical, dental, vision, and basic life insurance. Additional ENGIE benefits include a 401k plan, paid time off and annual bonus. ENGIE complies with all federal, state, and local minimum wage laws.

QUALIFICATIONS AND REQUIREMENTS: Education/ Certifications/ Experience/ Competencies/ Skills/ Abilities/ Other

  Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, Communications, or a related field; MBA is a plus.

  5+ years in B2B product or solutions marketing, preferably within a regulated industry (e.g., energy, finance, technology).

  Strong content creation, storytelling, and messaging development experience across buyer journeys.

  Proven ability to align messaging and strategy across multiple tiers, programs, and personas.

  Demonstrated expertise in SEO strategy, sales enablement and competitive positioning.

  Excellent project management and cross-functional collaboration skills.

 

  Proficient in tools such as Salesforce, HubSpot, Highspot, and PowerPoint; experience with content management systems and marketing automation platforms a plus.

 

WORK ENVIRONMENT:

  • Work schedules are determined by business need and manager discretion; full time employment is considered 40 hours per week.
  • Most desk work will be performed remotely. Occasional visits to ENGIE offices may be required.
  • As a global organization, attending meetings and events during early mornings and evenings may be required.
  • Performing duties and attending events during the evening and on the weekend occurs occasionally and may be required.
  • Traveling off-site to employee and client locations globally, events and vendor meetings is required.
  • Occasional international business trips may be necessary, and a valid passport is required.

REQUIRED PHYSICAL ACTIVITIES:

  • Ability to bend, stoop, reach, stand, move from one area of the building to another on a regular basis, sit and use a computer for a long period of time.
  • Manual and physical dexterity needed to operate a computer keyboard and handle paper documents.
  • Adequate hearing and verbal abilities to communicate effectively in person, by telephone, and by video call.
  • Sufficient near vision acuity to read information appearing on computer display screen, in handwritten forms, and printed on paper.
  • Ability to lift and carry items weighing up to 50 pounds.
  • Entering text or data into a computer or other machine by means of a traditional keyboard.
  • The ability to hear, understand, and distinguish speech and/or other sounds (e.g., machinery alarms, medical codes or alarms) in multiple forms; in person speech; telephone, other remote speech
  • Clarity of vision at approximately 20 inches or less (i.e., working with small objects or reading small print), including use of computers.
