We are looking for a GPO R2R Process Manager VAT Tax Accounting to lead the standardization, governance, and continuous improvement of our VAT and indirect tax processes globally. In this role, you will shape how tax compliance operates across countries, bridging strategy and execution while enabling digital transformation. Your work will directly strengthen our financial integrity and support ENGIE's mission at scale.

 

 

- Own end-to-end governance and performance of the R2R Indirect Tax Accounting subprocess, translating strategic vision into measurable outcomes across multiple jurisdictions.

- Design, document, and continuously improve global and local VAT process flows, SOPs, controls, and training materials to ensure consistency and compliance.

- Lead VAT and indirect tax process rationalization, define RACI matrices, and ensure controls align with internal, statutory, and regulatory requirements.

- Drive requirements design for digital tax tools and support deployment of VAT Tax Compliance solutions integrated with SAP S/4HANA and other ERP systems.

- Monitor KPIs for compliance, quality, efficiency, and automation, and coordinate remediation of identified process or control gaps.

- Align with stakeholders across Finance, Tax, IT, Internal Control, and ENGIE transformation programs to ensure harmonized delivery.

- Lead change management, communication, and adoption activities so local finance and tax teams stay informed and engaged.

 

 

- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Tax, or a related field.

- Approximately 5 years of experience in R2R process management, VAT compliance, Tax Accounting, or finance transformation.

- Expert knowledge of VAT regulations, indirect tax controls, recovery rules, and statutory reporting across multiple jurisdictions.

- Hands-on experience with SAP FI, tax modules, VAT reporting tools, and digital finance solutions.

- Proven ability to define business requirements, process flows, controls, and SOPs for global solutions with local adaptations.

- Strong stakeholder management, facilitation, and change management skills across cultures and organizational levels.

- C1-level English is mandatory. B2-level French is highly desirable.

- Analytical mindset with attention to detail, sound judgment, and a structured, outcome-focused approach.
